Meeting Date: Second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
The Licensing Committee of Community Board 12-Manhattan (CB12M) is dedicated to overseeing and reviewing applications for licenses related to the sale of alcohol, the operation of for-hire vehicles, and roadside or sidewalk café structures within Washington Heights and Inwood. This committee plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of life in the district by ensuring that businesses and services operate in a manner that is safe, legal, and considerate of community standards.
Every month, the Committee evaluates applications for liquor licenses and livery cab licenses and makes recommendations to the New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) and the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC).
If you are a resident who would like to make a comment on an applicant before CB12M, you may appear at the Licensing Committee meeting or submit your comment by email to [email protected].
Review resolutions with recommendations to respective agencies that the Committee has made. The Committee’s minutes are available here as well.
