Committee assignments have been made! We are excited to welcome 16 new members to CB12M. If you have questions about your assignment and the commitments as a board member, reach out to Chairperson Anthony Viola.

Introducing the Playbook.

CB12M is excited to introduce the Playbook. Led by our summer intern, Dee Thomas, the Playbook will guide the Board through its requirements and expectations each calendar year. See the Policies and Procedures tab for more details.

Public membership applications remain open.

Visit the “About” page on this website and use the sidebar and navigate to “Membership Applications” for details to apply to the Board as a public member. Applications to be appointed by the Manhattan Borough President will likely be available later this year.

Initiatives

Want to help out with more than only your committee assignments? Reach out to Chair Anthony Viola at [email protected] if any of the following interests you.

• Lookback Exercise – we are undergoing the lookback exercise, which focuses on follow-up with appropriate agencies about their response to Board resolutions. The outcomes will be presented by Chairperson Anthony Viola later this year.
• Outreach Committee – the members have been appointed, but you can still help. Reach out with any feedback or thoughts that the Outreach Committee should consider.
• Intern Support – we continue to welcome interns throughout the year, and encourage members to recommend candidates at any time.
• Clinics – as we consider ways to serve our community, let us know if you have ideas for clinics to hold at our office or at some other local facility, and whether you’re interested in helping organize them.
