Update on NYC Class Size Law

Under NYC’s Class Size Law, this is the first school year that schools must ensure that 20% of all classes meet the new class size caps to address overcrowded classrooms. Leonie Hason of Class Size Matters will share an update on the status of the NYC Class Size Law, including efforts to ensure classrooms are within the mandated size limits, how our local schools are progressing, and the challenges that still lie ahead in the path to citywide compliance.
