What to Expect when Testifying during the Public Session:

For each agenda item during the Public Session, there will be a call for speakers to testify: first the Public and then the Applicant or Applicant’s Representative.

Members of the Public:

Speakers will have two minutes to speak; at the discretion of the Working Group Chair, this could be reduced to one minute, due to the large number of applications on the agenda. You may only testify once per application. The Working Group may ask for clarification of statements from your testimony.

There is no formal presentation of the application by the Working Group or the Applicant.

Applicant or Applicant’s Representative

The Working Group may or may not have questions for an Applicant and/or Applicant’s Representative, if present, during the Public Session. There is no formal presentation of the application by the Applicant or Applicant’s Representative during the Public Session. You may prepare a short statement about your application within the two-minute time limit, if you so choose, however, you will need to indicate to the Working Group Chair that you would like an opportunity to do so when your application is called up during the Public Session.

There is no estimate of what time or block of time your application will be called up, please do not ask. Applications will be called on in the order they are presented on the agenda.

Once the Working Group goes into Business Session, there is no more testimony from the Public or the Applicant. Everyone is welcome to stay and listen to the Business Session.
