Meetings and Collaboration
The Senior Task Force meets regularly, often in partnership with local senior centers, advocacy groups, and city agencies such as the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA). These meetings provide a platform for discussing issues, sharing updates, and planning initiatives that benefit older residents.
Impact
By focusing on the specific needs of seniors, the task force helps ensure that Manhattan’s older adults can live with dignity, independence, and security. Its work fosters a more age-friendly community, where seniors are supported and valued as integral members of the neighborhood.
Please Note: seating is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and an identification (ID) is mandatory for entry into the building.
