The Arts & Culture Committee works to increase the public’s level of access to information about the Arts in the community; reinforces pride in Harlem’s creativity and cultural expression; encourages the creation of public/ private partnerships in order to make public spaces available for local artists to exhibit their work; forms collaborations with art and cultural institutions to enhance the community’s access to the arts; and encourages the use of art in public spaces (e.g. parks, gardens, lobbies, libraries, etc.)

The Arts & Culture committee meets on the second Monday of each month via Zoom.
Meetings are livestreamed and recorded on Facebook Live. Live feeds of zoom meetings are available for broadcasting upon request.
