The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is located along 11th Avenue between West 34th-38th Streets. The Javits Convention Center’s existing space was in immediate need of repairs and renovations. The Javits Convention Center lacked a sufficient amount of prime exhibition space, including an inadequate amount of contiguous space to attract the largest conventions and trade shows. This called for the renovation and expansion of the existing Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
