Continued discussion from the previous month: This proposal would expand zoning incentives (i.e.\, offer increases in bulk) for developments in high-density districts; would improve zoning rules to allow the MTA to locate access to subway stations within private developments; and would require property owners of developments near stations to proactively work with the MTA to provide station access easements and improvements. Sponsored by DCP in collaboration with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA)\, City Council and the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD).  A vote will be taken this month.\n*The Health and Fitness Text Amendment will modify regulations relating to gyms\, spas\, licensed massage therapy\, and other health and fitness facilities defined as Physical Culture or Health Establishments (PCEs). The proposed text amendment will remove the requirement for such facilities to receive a special permit by the Board of Standards and Appeals.
