Additionally, Boards regularly conduct public hearings on the City&#8217;s budget, land use matters, and other items of concern.<\/p>\n<h2>Committees:<\/h2>\n<p>Committees within Community Boards are charged with the duty of following up on the issues raised at Board meetings. Each Board establishes its own structures and procedures for committees; non-board members may apply to join them.<\/p>\n<h2>CB12M Monthly Meetings:<\/h2>\n<p>CB12M Committee Meetings are usually in the first two weeks of the month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1st Monday<\/strong> \u2013 Traffic &amp; Transportation at 7 pm<br \/>\n<strong>1st Tuesday<\/strong> \u2013 Business Development at 7 pm<br \/>\n<strong>1st Wednesday<\/strong> \u2013 Land Use; and Public Safety at 7 pm<br \/>\n<strong>1st Thursday<\/strong> \u2013 Aging at 10:30 am; Health &amp; Environment at 6:30 pm; Housing &amp; Human Services at 7 pm<br \/>\n<strong>2nd Monday<\/strong> \u2013 Youth &amp; Education at 7 pm<br \/>\n<strong>2nd Tuesday<\/strong> \u2013 Parks &amp; Cultural Affairs at 6:30 pm<br \/>\n<strong>2nd Wednesday<\/strong> \u2013 Licensing at 6:30 pm<br \/>\n<strong>3rd Monday<\/strong> \u2013 Executive Committee at 6:30 pm<br \/>\n<strong>3rd Thursday<\/strong> \u2013 District Service Cabinet Meeting at 10 am<br \/>\n<strong>4th Tuesday<\/strong> \u2013 General Board Meeting at 6:30 pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Please Call CB12 to confirm meetings*<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"card-text\">Monthly Board meetings provide a public forum for members to address items of concern to the community and give residents the opportunity to express their opinions.
