The Licensing Committee of Community Board 12-Manhattan (CB12M) is dedicated to overseeing and reviewing applications for licenses related to the sale of alcohol, the operation of for-hire vehicles, and roadside or sidewalk caf\u00e9 structures within Washington Heights and Inwood. This committee plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of life in the district by ensuring that businesses and services operate in a manner that is safe, legal, and considerate of community standards.<\/p>\n

Every month, the Committee evaluates applications for liquor licenses and livery cab licenses and makes recommendations to the New York State Liquor Authority<\/a> (SLA) and the Taxi and Limousine Commission<\/a> (TLC).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you are a resident who would like to make a comment on an applicant before CB12M, you may appear at the Licensing Committee meeting or submit your comment by email to cb12m@cb.nyc.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n
